The Lead Claims Advocate, Executive Risk Claims serves as a strategicclaimsadvisor and advocate for clients with complex management and professional liability exposures. This positionis responsible formanaging and advocating claims involving Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Crime/Fidelity, Cyber Liability, Professional Liability (E&O), Kidnap & Ransom, and other executive risk-related products.
The role requires a deep understanding of policy interpretation, coverage analysis, claims strategy, insurer negotiations, and litigation management. The Senior Claims Advocate acts as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance throughout the claim lifecycle while collaborating closely with brokers, underwriters, insurers, defense counsel, and other stakeholders to achieveoptimalclaim outcomes.
How You Will Contribute:

Lead the handling of complex and high-severity claims involving: Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability; Employment Practices Liability (EPL); Fiduciary Liability; Crime/Fidelity; Professional Liability / Errors & Omissions (E Cyber.

Review claim notices, demand letters, subpoenas, regulatory investigations, and lawsuits toidentifypotential insurance coverage.

Report new matters under all applicable policies andassistclientswith preservation of insurance rights.

Develop and execute claim strategies designed to maximize policyholder recovery.

Coordinate and manage communications among clients, insurers, defense counsel, coverage counsel, forensic firms, and other claim stakeholders.

Monitor insurer investigations, coverage positions, and claim handling activities to ensuretimelyand fair claim resolution.

Negotiatecoverage ofdisputes, defense cost advancements, settlements, and allocation issues with insurers.

Analyze policy language, endorsements, exclusions, and program structures toidentifycoverage opportunities and potential gaps.

Provide technical coverage analysis and guidanceregardingmanagement ofliability, professional liability, and cyber insurance policies.

Support policy placement teams byidentifyingclaim trends and recommending enhancements to policy language and program structure.

Serve asprimaryclaims ofcontact for assigned clients and broker teams.

Build andmaintaintrusted relationships with risk managers, general counsel, executives, finance leaders, and other client stakeholders.

Conduct claim reviews, stewardship meetings, and claim trend analyses for clients.

Provide proactive updatesregardingclaim developments, emerging exposures, and market trends.

Support new business opportunities byparticipatingin client presentations, RFP responses, andprospectmeetings.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:

Bachelor's degreerequired; insurance certification preferred (e.g., CPCU, AIC).
- JD preferred.

5- 10 years of specialty claims handling experience.

Strong coverage interpretation and litigation management skills.

Strong knowledge of D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, E&O and Cyber insurance products.

Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Pay Range
$84,000 - $157,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
