Land Analyst

Land Analyst Role – US Land Investment Company (Full-Time, M–F) – LandPortal + SmarterContact

Caltera Land Group buys, sells, and invests in vacant land across the United States, with a current focus on the East Coast. We’re scaling the team and hiring multiple land analysts in this round. You should have prior experience in the land industry and hands-on time with tools like LandPortal, SmarterContact, Land Insights, and county GIS maps. SmarterContact and LandPortal are what you’ll use from day one.

The job

Your main role is to accurately comp properties. You’re the person who d ---------- whether a lead is a deal. Every day you will:

Vet inbound seller leads and pull up the parcel in LandPortal

Check for deal killers before anyone wastes time: wetlands, flood zone, road access, perc/septic, zoning

Comp the viable ones: utilize recent sold land sales and price per acre to make accurate range offers

Work your own SmarterContact inbox: sort responses into the right buckets, respond to messages, separate workable leads from dead ones, move the real ones forward

Hours

9:00am–5:00pm US Eastern, Monday–Friday. In Manila that is 9pm–5am now, and 10pm–6am after November 1. To apply, start your application with the word acorn.

Pay

$800 USD per month — $400 paid on the 15th and $400 paid on the last day of the month. On top of that, every person on the team gets $100 per closed deal, paid when the transaction is fully funded and closed. Nobody competes for leads here; when one of us closes, all of us get paid. Bonus eligibility starts after your first 30 days.

You should have

Hands-on experience comping US vacant land for a land investor or wholesaler

LandPortal and SmarterContact as daily tools. Land Insights and county GIS are a plus

Clear spoken English

Your own computer, stable internet, and a backup for power and internet outages

No other job during our hours
