Junior Legal Researcher (WFH)

About the job:
As a Junior Legal Researcher at San Mahajan Consultancy Private Limited, you'll support the team with clear, accurate legal research and organized documentation. You'll build practical research skills while helping turn information into useful summaries and records.

1. Research relevant laws, regulations, and judgments using reliable legal sources, and share findings with the team.

2. Prepare concise case and legal-topic summaries in clear English, highlighting key points and citations.

3. Assist with drafting and proofreading research notes, correspondence, and basic legal documents for accuracy and readability.

4. Organize case materials, references, and document records so information is easy to retrieve.

5. Maintain research trackers and case-related data in MS Excel, checking entries for completeness and consistency.

6. Support the team in comparing legal provisions or decisions and compiling the results into structured reports.

7. Follow up on assigned research tasks, communicate progress clearly, and flag gaps or conflicting information for review.

- 3. This is a remote job from Monday to Friday, but as the company follows the concept of virtual office, the candidate is required to be available online during working hours.
