About this job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong data background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring seamless communication between both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position requires proficiency in data analysis and SQL, as well as experience with Power BI . Experience in the CPG sector is desirable .

Location: 100% remote - Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia

How you'll make an impact:

- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications;

- Maintain documentation such as transformation rules, data dictionaries, and metric definitions;

- Design and implement mappings between multiple data sources;

- Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making;

- Collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives;

- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI;

- Provide support in data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL;

- Conduct stakeholder surveys, workshops, and meetings to collect and clarify requirements, rules, and other relevant information .

What makes you a great fit:

- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role;

- Experience in conducting workshops;

- Ability to lead meetings and brainstorming meetings ;

Experience documenting data projects ;

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken);

- Strong experience in writing advanced SQL queries for data extraction and analysis;

- Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse , and ETL concepts;

- Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms;

- Experience in data visualization with Power BI or any other BI tool ;

- Experience delivering finance reporting and BI solutions for finance stakeholders.

Desirable skills:

- Background in CPG industry-related projects;

- Experience with Databricks and Azure data stack.
