We are looking for a Data & Tech Lead to provide technical leadership for a strategic project focused on centralizing and transforming Supply Chain data for a major CPG company.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the data team from a technical perspective, contributing to solution and architecture design, guiding technical decisions, and working closely with the client to connect business needs, data, architecture, and engineering .

The project aims to transform a distributed data environment involving Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, SharePoint, and legacy systems into a centralized, reliable, and scalable data platform to support business operations and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team , guiding technical decisions and ensuring high-quality deliveries;

Define and evolve the data architecture of the solution;

Design strategies for data ingestion, integration, and transformation from multiple sources;

Lead the migration of data from SharePoint to SQL Server ;

Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) ;

Design transactional and analytical layers to consolidate data across different Supply Chain domains;

Lead the development and evolution of semantic models and Power BI solutions ;

Ensure best practices for data quality, performance, governance, and scalability ;

Work directly with the client to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions;

Act as a bridge between business, architecture, data, and development teams ;

Provide technical guidance to Data Developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Requirements

-
Solid experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture ;

-
Proven experience providing technical leadership for data teams ;

-
Strong experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and multi-source data integrations ;

Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) ;

-
Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SQL ;

-
Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and processing;

Practical experience with Databricks and Azure ;

-
Knowledge of data modeling and semantic models ;

-
Experience with Power BI ;

-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

-
Advanced English proficiency for communication in a corporate and international environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform , especially Power Apps and Power Automate;

Knowledge of SAP and SAP data integration ;

Experience or knowledge of Supply Chain processes ;

Spanish proficiency .
