Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & HR Advisory Support
• Support multiple HCA client engagements simultaneously, taking ownership of assigned workstreams, deadlines, documentation, and follow-up.
• Participate in client discovery, onboarding, status meetings, and working sessions; prepare agendas, notes, action items, and follow-up materials as needed.
• Conduct HR research and translate findings into practical, business-focused guidance for client review.
• Draft and update employee handbooks, workplace policies, manager tools, job descriptions, HR procedures, employee communications, and other client-facing materials.
• Support HR compliance and risk assessments, including review of policies, practices, employee files, onboarding documentation, and multi-state requirements.
• Assist with employee relations, performance management, leave and accommodation, wage-and-hour, classification, documentation, and other day-to-day HR matters under appropriate senior guidance.
• Support compensation benchmarking, recruiting and talent acquisition, workforce planning, HR process improvement, and other HCA projects as assigned.
• Use HCA research and technology resources, including compliance, handbook, compensation, and HR technology platforms, to support accurate and timely client work.
• Prepare polished client deliverables and ensure work is complete, organized, well-supported, and ready for senior review.
HR Foundations & Workforce Process Support
• Help clients strengthen core HR infrastructure through consistent policies, documentation, processes, and manager practices.
• Support regulatory monitoring and research across federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Assist with employee handbook and policy development, HR file audits, new-hire process reviews, and foundational compliance projects.
• Develop practical tools that help managers execute HR responsibilities consistently, including checklists, templates, guides, and documentation resources.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or emerging workforce needs and elevate them to HCA leadership for further advisory support.
Practice Growth, Marketing & Events
• Support HCA's LinkedIn presence by helping coordinate content calendars, draft or refine HR-focused content, prepare posts for review, and assist with publishing workflows.
• Assist with HCA newsletters, articles, webinars, presentations, client education materials, and other thought-leadership initiatives.
