Insight Assurance is a global audit firm on a mission to transform how organizations achieve cybersecurity and compliance. Founded by former Big 4 (EY) professionals, we deliver next-generation audit services across SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS (QSA), HITRUST, CMMC (C3PAO), and FedRAMP (3PAO) frameworks.

We’re not your traditional audit firm β€” we’re tech-enabled, leveraging compliance automation and advanced collaboration tools to make audits faster, smarter, and more impactful for our clients.

Recognized on the Inc. 5000 and Fast 50 lists, Insight Assurance is one of the fastest-growing global audit firms, with 170+ professionals supporting nearly 2,000 clients across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

We are looking for an HR & Recruiting Assistant to join our Human Resources team and support both our hiring efforts and the employee experience for our global workforce. You will split your time between recruitment support, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding, day-to-day HR operations and compliance tracking. Because we operate in an audited environment, accuracy, confidentiality and well-documented processes are central to this role.

This position exercises discretion and independent judgment in administering HR policies and processes on behalf of the company, and is a strong fit for someone ready to grow into an HR Generalist or Recruiter role.

β€’ Onboarding and offboarding: Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including offer paperwork, background checks, equipment and system access requests, exit processing and final documentation.

β€’ Benefits and payroll coordination: Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on benefits, leave, and payroll; coordinate enrollments, life-event changes and payroll inputs with the PEO and escalate discrepancies.

β€’ Employment compliance: Track region-specific requirements for a global remote workforce (new-hire reporting, required postings and notices, leave and paid sick time rules) and flag changes to the HR Manager.

β€’ Employee support: Resolve routine requests using judgment on when to escalate sensitive matters such as leave, accommodations, or complaints.

β€’ Recruitment lifecycle: Support end-to-end hiring, from intake with hiring managers and drafting job descriptions to posting, screening and offer and pre-employment steps.

β€’ Sourcing and screening: Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and talent pipelines.

β€’ Interview coordination: Schedule interviews across time zones, prepare interview kits and scorecards, and gather timely feedback from hiring managers.

β€’ ATS and candidate experience: Keep ATS accurate and current, send timely and respectful candidate communications, and deliver a positive experience at every stage.

β€’ Training and policy administration: Assign and track compliance training, policy acknowledgments and certifications; follow up on overdue items.

β€’ Reporting and process improvement: Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, training completion), identify process gaps, and recommend and implement improvements and templates.

β€’ Confidentiality: Handle employee data with the highest discretion in line with company privacy and information security policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

β€’ 2+ years of experience combining recruiting (sourcing, screening, coordination) and HR administration or HR operations, preferably in a remote or professional services environment.

β€’ Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and practices (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, I-9, COBRA) and awareness of multi-state differences.

β€’ Hands-on experience with an ATS (Workable preferred) and HRIS, PEO, or payroll platforms; strong Excel skills.

β€’ Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish; exceptional attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

β€’ Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and sound judgment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

β€’ Experience recruiting technical, cybersecurity or sales talent.

β€’ Experience in a compliance, audit or other regulated environment (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC).

β€’ Familiarity with Deel, Jira, Workable, LinkedIn or similar tools.

β€’ Fully remote work environment with flexibility.

β€’ Competitive salary and eligibility for performance-based incentives.

β€’ Health benefits and retirement plan, subject to plan eligibility.

β€’ Paid time off and paid holidays.

β€’ Professional development and a clear growth path within HR and talent acquisition.
