HR Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized External HR Specialist to manage candidate recruitment, regulatory compliance, and onboarding for our California-based home health agency. You will be responsible for sourcing top clinical talent (nurses, therapists, aides) and ensuring 100% compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Post job openings on job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn), source candidates through networks, review resumes, and conduct initial screening interviews. Issue formal job applications, job descriptions, and offer letters.

2. Conduct mandatory background and credential checks, including DCA license verifications, monthly OIG exclusion checks, and online background checks.

3. Collect, verify, and organize candidate onboarding documents (I-9/W-4, professional licenses, CPR/BLS certifications, TB tests, physical exams, immunization records, auto registration/insurance).

4. Coordinate EMR (Kinnser) training/orientation, input new hires into payroll, issue ID badges, organize shadow visits, and manage supply policies.

5. Maintain organized, audit-ready personnel files and master tracking sheets using ---------- and Google Sheets, adhering strictly to CDPH and CMS regulations.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in HR, recruitment, or onboarding, specifically within California Healthcare or Home Health agencies.

2. Strong familiarity with California healthcare compliance standards, including California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulations and DCA license verification processes. 3. Proficiency in using ---------- , Google Workspace, and California-compliant EMR platforms (e.g., Kinnser).
