About Agilent

Agilent Technologies is a global leader in life sciences, diagnostics, and applied chemical markets, delivering instruments, software, services, and consumables that advance the quality of life. Our solutions help scientists and clinicians answer some of the world's most important questions — from developing new therapeutics and advancing cancer diagnostics to ensuring the safety of food, water, and the environment. Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, Agilent employs approximately 18,000 people worldwide serving laboratories across pharma, biotech, clinical, chemical, environmental, food, academic, and government markets.
The Role

Agilent Global TA is conducting a search for a Head of Americas Talent Acquisition to lead hiring strategy and execution across the Americas. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team (TALT) this leader will own the full recruiting engine for the Americas region — leading a team of Lead TA Partners, Senior TA Partners, and TA Partners - collaborating with senior business and functional leaders on workforce planning, and building the processes, tools, and employer brand that allow Agilent to attract exceptional scientific, engineering, commercial, and operations talent. The talent we hire directly shapes our ability to innovate for the lab of the future — this is a high-visibility leadership role at the heart of that mission.
What You'll Do

Leadership & Strategy

-
Own the Americas talent acquisition strategy, translating business goals and headcount plans into an executable hiring roadmap across R&D, manufacturing, field service, commercial, and corporate functions

-
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Lead/Senior/TA Partners; set clear goals, develop talent, and build a high-performance, inclusive team culture aligned with the One Agilent values of integrity, respect, teamwork, and accountability

-
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and hiring leaders on org design, market intelligence, compensation trends, and the availability of specialized talent — from analytical chemists and molecular biologists to software engineers and field service professionals

-
Partner with Finance and HR leadership on annual and quarterly workforce planning, capacity modeling, and hiring prioritization

Execution & Operations

-
Drive predictable delivery against hiring targets across high-volume, niche scientific/technical, and executive searches; personally lead select senior searches

-
Build and continuously improve recruiting processes, interviewer training, and candidate experience from first touch to signed offer

-
Define and report on TA metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, offer-accept rate, quality of hire, cost per hire, source effectiveness) and use data to drive decisions

-
Own the regional TA tech stack (ATS, sourcing and scheduling tools, AI-enabled recruiting tools) and vendor/agency relationships and budgets

-
Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill scientific and engineering disciplines through university partnerships, early-career programs, industry associations, and scientific communities

Qualifications
What You'll Bring

-
10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 4+ years leading and scaling recruiting teams, ideally across multiple countries in the Americas

-
A track record of delivering both volume and senior-level hiring in the life sciences, diagnostics, biotech, MedTech, scientific instrumentation, or technology sectors

-
Experience recruiting specialized STEM talent — scientists, engineers, and technical field/service roles — and understanding of what motivates these candidate populations

-
Experience partnering directly with C-level and VP stakeholders on workforce planning and org design in a global, matrixed organization

-
Strong analytical and business/candidate advisory fluency: you run TA as “business” and “product” with dashboards, forecasts, and ca
