Growth Operations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Growth Operations Manager based in India.

As a Growth Operations Manager, you will oversee and execute growth initiatives for an AI-focused venture studio and business-building organization, starting with a venture in the manufacturing and supply chain sector. You will coordinate a lean, India-based team covering content, research, marketing, and creative production while ensuring operational excellence and consistent delivery. The role combines hands-on growth marketing with team leadership, CRM management, and data-driven campaign optimization. You will drive demand generation, strengthen the sales pipeline, and implement scalable processes that improve efficiency and performance. Working closely with international leadership and creative stakeholders, you will introduce AI-powered workflows and automation to maximize team productivity. Accountabilities

Team Leadership and Operations: Coordinate and supervise junior team members across content, research, marketing, and creative production. Assign tasks, manage deadlines, review deliverables, maintain quality standards, contribute to hiring recommendations, and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Growth Marketing Execution: Plan and implement demand generation initiatives, email marketing campaigns, supplier outreach support, lead nurturing, SEO activities, content calendars, and content distribution strategies.

CRM and Marketing Automation: Manage and optimize Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns, including workflow automation, contact segmentation, lead tracking, funnel reporting, campaign attribution, and data quality.

Sales Pipeline Support: Assist the sales representative responsible for supplier outreach in Mexico by conducting prospect research, building targeted lead lists, coordinating CRM follow-ups, and preparing relevant sales collateral.

AI and Process Optimization: Introduce AI-assisted tools and workflows to streamline repetitive tasks, improve execution speed, and increase the productivity of a lean team.

Creative and Editorial Coordination: Collaborate with the Brand and Editorial Director on creative briefs, specifications, content requirements, and approvals while retaining responsibility for personnel coordination and production scheduling.

Performance Management: Define and monitor growth KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, maintain accurate reporting, improve operational processes, and ensure measurable progress toward business objectives.

Operational Ownership: Build reliable systems and workflows that support consistent campaign delivery, pipeline growth, and independent execution with minimal day-to-day founder supervision.

Requirements

Professional Experience: Approximately 3–6+ years of experience in growth marketing, marketing operations, demand generation, or a related field, with demonstrated experience coordinating or managing team members.

Growth Marketing Skills: Hands-on experience with email marketing, lead generation, SEO implementation, outreach campaigns, content distribution, and marketing performance analysis.

CRM and Automation Expertise: Practical experience managing CRM platforms, marketing automation, lead segmentation, pipeline tracking, and campaign reporting. Familiarity with Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns is an advantage.

Analytics and Reporting: Ability to define relevant KPIs, analyze campaign performance, track attribution, and translate data into actionable improvements.

Team and Project Management: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate effectively, maintain quality standards, and meet deadlines.

AI Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with AI tools and a practical understanding of how to use automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve marketing and operational efficiency.

Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Independence and Accountability: A proactive, hands-on approach, sound judgment, and the ability to take ownership of processes and deliver results with limited supervision.

Preferred Industry Experience: Exposure to B2B marketing, manufacturing, supply chains, supplier engagement, or venture-building environments is beneficial.
