Full-time (1-to-1) English Teacher for a Warm, Well-Established School in Jiyugaoka

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated full-time English teacher to join our close-knit team in Jiyugaoka (a 3-minute walk from the station). This is a 1-to-1 teaching position working with a wide age range of wonderful students, from young learners (6 years old) to adults (70+).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TEACHING STYLE

・Conduct engaging 1-to-1 lessons (primarily in-person, with occasional online classes from the school).

・Teach grammar, vocabulary, natural expressions, and special topics (listening, news, travel, debate).

Flexible & Engaging Teaching Style: While we provide textbooks and original lesson materials, our curriculum is never rigid or strictly manual-bound. You have the flexibility to adapt and arrange lessons to fit each student's needs, ensuring teaching remains fun, engaging, and never monotonous.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALITIES WE SEEK

・Teaching or educational experience required (1+ years preferred)

・Friendly and positive mindset with strong communication skills and cultural awareness

・Native-level English proficiency with a solid command of grammar

・Valid work visa (sponsorship and renewal support available)

・Currently living in Tokyo and able to work on Saturdays and Sundays

Note: No Japanese language skills required.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATION

Location: Jiyugaoka, Tokyo (a 3-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station)

Start Date: October or November 2026 (or within the next month or two)

Weekdays: 13:00-22:00 (1-hour lunch break + 20-minute break)

Weekends & National Holidays: 11:00-20:00 (1-hour lunch break + 20-minute break)

8 days off per month (Weekend availability required)

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary: 250,000 - 300,000 yen per month
*negotiable based on teaching experience and qualifications
