We’re hiring a Founding CTO / Chief Risk Officer to join an early-stage fintech/Web3 startup building an on-chain institutional FX hedging infrastructure .

This is a co-founder-level opportunity for a technical leader who wants to own the architecture, risk infrastructure, and technical vision from day one.
🔥 Who We’re Looking For
Must-have:

- Former Founder, CTO, or Founding Engineer

- Expert-level Rust — strictly required

- Strong background in financial/trading infrastructure

- Experience building systems from 0 → 1 and scaling them in production

- Deep understanding of risk, margin, trading, or financial systems

- Strong DevOps / infrastructure expertise

- Experience with protocol security, security auditing, or blockchain infrastructure

- Comfortable taking full technical ownership at co-founder level

Requirements
Ideal Background

We’re especially interested in engineers who have worked on:

- Trading engines / financial infrastructure

- Risk & margin systems

- Market infrastructure

- DeFi / derivatives / FX protocols

- Blockchain / smart contract infrastructure

- High-performance Rust systems

- Security-critical financial protocols

- Distributed systems and production infrastructure

🏗️ What You’ll Own

- Define and execute the technical vision

- Architect core trading, risk and settlement infrastructure

- Design robust risk & margin systems

- Lead engineering and infrastructure strategy

- Establish security and reliability standards

- Work closely with founders on product and protocol direction

- Build the engineering organization from the ground up
