GDIT is hiring a Program Expense Specialist to support the Medicaid Integrity Institute (MII) mission. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in finance.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a MII Expense Specialist, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). You will play a crucial role in supporting state Medicaid agencies' program integrity efforts as a member of the MII Program Management Office (PMO) team.
- Support the financial and administrative operations of MII by managing the corporate AMEX card and reconciling MII event‑related expenses and travel costs.
- Collaborate with program finance, events, task order managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure program travel requirements are within scope.
- Drive accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
- Utilize strong organization skills to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of financial expenditures each billing cycle.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as expense management systems and common business tools (e.g., Excel, AMEX corporate and virtual card platforms, Concur or similar).
- Role requirements: Detail-driven, highly organized, and experienced working with financial documentation.

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $73,865. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
