We are looking for a Software Engineer to focus on our DrChrono EHR platform . Our mission is to build a technology platform that enables medical practices of all sizes to make care more informed, more personalized, more interactive, and more adaptable. In this role, you will work alongside other developers, quality assurance testers, and product owners on one of our agile teams to deliver a highly stable, quality software product to our customers.
Responsibilities:

A Software Engineer is responsible for participating in all aspects of the DrChrono software development lifecycle for both new application development and existing system maintenance. These activities include but are not limited to:

·Code/Test/Deploy Software 70%

- Requirement Estimation & Software Spikes 5%

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.

- 3+ years' experience writing production backend code in Python and Django

- 3+ years' experience doing front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript

- 2+ years' experience with React and Typescript

- 3+ years of experience with Test Automation, Mocking, Stubs, etc

- Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or other)

- Demonstrates expertise in algorithms, refactoring and engineering best practices (DRY, SOLID, etc)

·Proficiency with Git

- Propensity to overcome challenges and solve “hard” problems

- Internal drive for continuous improvement (knowledge, standards, best practices)

- Desire to coach and mentor less experienced team members

- Strong communication skills with the ability to adj
