Position: Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Expert — Data Centers
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$140/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 5–10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Review tasks involving design coordination, procurement, vendor data, drawing packages, EOR revisions, constructability, and more.

- Check scope interfaces, technical requirements, schedule logic, and material constraints.

- Identify ambiguity, conflicting documents, missing constraints, or unrealistic deliverables.

- Improve task prompts, supporting artifacts, acceptance criteria, rubrics, and programmatic checks.

- Produce clear technical findings and validate corrected tasks end to end.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- 2+ years of experience delivering data centers or complex capital projects through EPC , design-build, or construction-management models.

- Relevant roles include Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Design Manager, Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Commissioning Manager, Project Controls Lead, or Technical Project Manager.

- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction interfaces.

- Able to interpret large document sets, specifications, drawings, schedules, equipment submittals, cost and constraint registers, and field records.

- Precise, detail-oriented, and able to explain technical issues clearly in writing.

Preferred

- Experience at a leading EPC , design-build, engineering, or construction firm.

- PE , PMP , CCM , or commissioning credentials.
