Enterprise Data Conversion Lead

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Operational Integration, the Enterprise Data Conversion Lead owns enterprise data conversion across system implementations, agency integrations, acquisitions, and platform migrations. This role leads readiness, mapping, validation, reconciliation, cutover support, issue resolution, and stabilization to ensure converted data is accurate, operationally usable, and aligned to business, reporting, compliance, commission, financial, and client-service needs across Employee Benefits and P&C brokerage segments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end data conversion workstreams for system implementations, agency integrations, acquisitions, and platform migrations.

- Own conversion planning, data readiness, mapping coordination, validation, reconciliation, mock conversion, production cutover, and stabilization activities.

- Translate source-system data, target-platform standards, and business requirements into conversion rules, mapping decisions, validation plans, and remediation priorities.

- Coordinate business users, agency teams, technology, finance, vendors, and implementation partners to resolve data issues and drive conversion readiness.

- Manage issue logs, decisions, risks, defects, dependencies, and escalations that may impact conversion quality, business readiness, or operational continuity.

- Lead validation and reconciliation across key brokerage data domains, including client, policy, carrier, producer, commission, billing, claims, certificate, enrollment, eligibility, census, activity, attachment, and document data.

- Prepare concise status updates, readiness summaries, risk views, and recommendations for the Director, Operational Integration, and program leadership.

- Maintain and improve enterprise conversion standards, templates, controls, documentation, and repeatable playbooks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data conversion, data migration, systems implementation, insurance brokerage operations, business systems, technical project delivery, or related work.

- Experience leading cross-functional system implementation, acquisition integration, platform migration, or transformation initiatives.

- Working knowledge of Employee Benefits and P&C brokerage operations, data structures, and system workflows.

- Strong understanding of data mapping, cleansing, profiling, reconciliation, testing, validation, exception management, cutover support, and conversion governance.

- Proven ability to lead through influence, coordinate stakeholders and vendors, resolve issues, and drive accountability across workstreams.

- Hands-on experience with insurance brokerage platforms and related technologies, including Applied Epic, AMS360, Vertafore products, Salesforce, benefits administration platforms, carrier portals, document management systems, commission/accounting systems, or similar solutions.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Smartsheet required
