About the job:
Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct fun, interactive, and engaging virtual phonics sessions for children.

2. Prepare and teach lessons that are suitable for the age and learning level of each student.

3. Track learners' performance, identify areas for improvement, and maintain updated student records.

4. Share regular feedback regarding students' learning progress with parents and the academic coordinator.

5. Build a friendly, supportive, and engaging online classroom where children feel confident to participate.

6. Coordinate with the academic and curriculum teams to ensure effective and consistent teaching practices.

7. Modify lesson delivery and teaching techniques based on individual students' abilities, learning pace, and requirements.

8. Follow scheduled class timings, organizational procedures, and academic quality standards.

Other Requirements:
- A. Candidate requirements:
- 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in English, English Literature, Education, or a related discipline.
- 2. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- 3. At least 1 year of experience working with or teaching children is preferred.
- 4. Freshers with strong English communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching may also apply.
- 5. Good communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- 6. Genuine interest in teaching children and creating an enjoyable learning experience.
- 7. Comfortable using computers and online teaching applications.
- 8. Access to a dependable high-speed internet connection.
- 9. Must have a laptop or desktop computer suitable for conducting online classes.
- 10. Female applicants are preferred.
- B. Additional qualifications:
- 1. B.Ed. or another recognized teaching qualification will be an advantage.

- 2. TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar teaching certifications are preferred.
- 3. Experience in phonics instruction, early childhood education, basic literacy, or spoken English programs is beneficial.
- 4. Familiarity with online classroom tools, interactive learning resources, and digital teaching platforms is an added advantage.
- C. Language skills:
- 1. Strong English communication skills are essential.
- 2. Proficiency in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, or Hindi will be an added advantage.
- 3. Candidates who can communicate with children and parents in one or more Indian regional languages will be preferred.
