MANTECH seeks a highly motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a part-time position requiring the employee to work between 1-19 hours per week fully remotely .
In this role, you will be responsible for providing Engineering support to the PMW 640 Logistics and Sustainment Lead and other customers in support of combat systems development and integration of the Ships Self Defense System (SSDS) on US Navy Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious ships.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop/update/maintain SSDS & IWS 80 Integrated Product Support program plans and documentation (Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Harvest plan, etc)

Develop/update Integrated Product Support (IPS)-related agendas, presentations, schedules

Monitor and report CASREP part support status

Attend briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the IWS 80 IPS Principal Assistant Program Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent education
-
Some relevant engineering experience in support of defense contracts

Professional or educational experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Prior experience supporting Navy Combat Systems program office
Clearance Requirements:
-
U.S. citizenship required and an active or current Secret Security clearance
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time
-
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

Must be able to exchange accurate information
The projected compensation range for this position is $59,100.00-$98,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
