E-Commerce Product Photo & Graphic Designer

Pay: $3.00 USD per hour

Schedule: 20–40 hours per week

Payment: Biweekly via Wise

Position: Long-Term Remote Position

About the Position

HSA is looking for a highly skilled E-Commerce Product Photo & Graphic Designer to join our team long-term.

This position focuses on transforming product photos, vector artwork, and digital product files into professional, realistic, eye-catching e-commerce images and lifestyle scenes.

You will create product imagery for platforms including:

* Etsy

* Amazon

* TikTok

* Temu

* Shopify

* Social media and digital advertising

This is not an entry-level graphic design position. You must have strong photo-editing and compositing skills and understand how to create realistic product imagery designed to attract online shoppers while accurately representing the actual product.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibility will be creating and editing e-commerce product images.

Projects may include:

* Converting basic product photos into professional lifestyle images

* Placing products realistically into indoor and outdoor environments

* Converting vector artwork into realistic product lifestyle images

* Creating realistic product mockups from Adobe Illustrator/vector files

* Removing and replacing backgrounds

* Correcting lighting, shadows, perspective, and reflections

* Cleaning and enhancing product photography

* Creating close-up and alternate-angle product images

* Creating marketplace-ready product images

* Using AI tools to create and enhance realistic lifestyle environments

* Combining traditional Photoshop editing with AI-generated elements

* Creating product comparison and feature graphics

* Creating branded e-commerce infographics

* Resizing and adapting images for different marketplaces

* Maintaining accurate product proportions, colors, artwork, text, and design details

* Following established branding templates precisely

A major part of this position is understanding how to use AI as a professional design tool without allowing AI to incorrectly alter the actual product being advertised.

You must be highly skilled in:

* Branding and brand consistency

* E-commerce product presentation

Video editing experience is a plus, particularly experience creating product videos, Reels, and short-form social media content.

AI Experience

You must be comfortable working with modern AI image-generation and photo-editing tools.

We are specifically looking for designers who understand how to combine AI tools with professional graphic-design software.

AI should enhance your workflow, not replace your graphic-design skills.

You must be able to recognize common AI errors and manually correct them using Photoshop or Illustrator.

E-Commerce Experience

Previous experience creating product images for Etsy, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Temu, Shopify, or similar e-commerce platforms is strongly preferred.

You should understand that e-commerce product imagery must be both visually attractive and accurate to the actual product being sold.

You must be able to follow detailed instructions and preserve important product characteristics when creating lifestyle images.

Hours & Training

This position begins with a training period so you can learn our products, branding standards, image requirements, and workflow.

* First 4 weeks: Up to 20 hours per week

* After approximately 60 days: Up to 30 hours per week

* After approximately 90 days: Up to 40 hours per week

* Hours may increase sooner if training is completed early and your skill level and performance meet our requirements

After 90 days salary review

This is intended to become a full-time, long-term position for the right person.

Compensation

Starting pay is $3.00 USD per hour.

Payment is made biweekly through Wise.

All working hours must be documented using the company's approved time-proof/time-tracking system.

We especially want to see examples demonstrating your ability to turn a basic product image or vector file into a professional lifestyle or e-commerce image.
