In this client- and stakeholder-facing role, you will configure and optimize the Dynatrace Unified Observability Platform across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments including leading PowerConnect App implementation, configuration, and customization for SAP observability to help engineering and operations teams reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR), improve application performance, and build a mature observability practice. You'll work independently on well-defined engagements while collaborating with senior architects on more complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead PowerConnect App implementation, configuration, and customization within Dynatrace to extend observability into SAP environments.
- Customize and maintain PowerConnect's dashboard library, log processing, and metric extraction rules to reflect each customer's SAP landscape and business processes.
- Onboard applications, infrastructure, and cloud workloads (AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes and Docker) for full-stack monitoring.
- Design, build, and maintain custom dashboards, alerting profiles, workflows, and analytics using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail.
- Monitor application performance and availability; lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, leveraging Davis AI causal insights.
- Configure Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), APM, and Log Monitoring to close observability gaps.

- Conduct health assessments and architecture reviews, and deliver clear, actionable best-practice recommendations.
- Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and Slack.
- Support OpenTelemetry and distributed-tracing initiatives across microservices architectures.
- Partner with Product Development and Product Support teams and drive continuous improvement in system functionality and reliability.
- Lead customer and internal enablement workshops, training sessions, and operations review meetings.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, implementation guides, and runbooks.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal observability standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in Application Performance Management (APM), observability, or related IT infrastructure roles.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Dynatrace (or comparable APM/observability tooling).
- Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of one or more programming/scripting languages (Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and modern web application architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex performance issues under pressure. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Dynatrace Certified Associate or Dynatrace Certified Professional certification.
- Prior consulting, client-facing, or project management experience.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Grail/DQL, and Davis AI-driven anomaly detection.
- Experience with SAP environments (S4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, HANA) and PowerConnect or similar SAP-to-observability integration tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Exposure to relational database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- ITIL Foundation certification.

- Employment for this role is structured through an Employer of Record (EOR) in your country of residence.
- Full statutory benefits and entitlements for the country of residence โ€” including paid annual leave, public holidays, sick leave, and pension or social insurance contributions as applicable.
- Competitive base salary of 30,000-40,000 USD/year plus performance-based incentives.
- Paid PowerConnect and SAP certification training and professional development budget.
- We also offer: - A fully remote-first working environment with genuine flexibility
- Company-provided equipment
- Direct exposure to a global enterprise customer base.
- A small, high-caliber team where your work has immediate impact
- The opportunity to grow with a profitable, product-led company in an expanding market
