The Opportunity 🚀
Carrot is seeking a Director, Talent to design, scale, and execute high-impact, business-aligned talent programs across the employee lifecycle. Reporting directly to the SVP, People, you will serve as a key operational and strategic leader—owning Performance Architecture, Talent Planning & Succession, Strategic Program Management, Talent Team & Manager Enablement, and Talent Bench Building.
As a multi-disciplinary strategic people leader who seamlessly bridges executive vision with flawless execution, you bring deep expertise spanning at least two of three core domains: Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering (HRBP), and Talent Management.
In this role, you will elevate organizational performance, build critical talent benches, create playbooks, leverage cutting-edge AI tools to optimize talent workflows, and ensure our talent programs directly accelerate Carrot’s business growth in a distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Management & Enablement

Team Enablement: In close partnership with People Leadership, lead key enablement programs for Talent Teams and People Managers to ensure seamless execution of all core talent practices.

Change Management: Craft clear, high-impact rollouts and change-management toolkits to drive program adoption across the company.

Targeted Leadership Programs: Oversee high-touch manager connection touchpoints, including the Manager Accelerator (Foundations, Core, Strategic tracks) and Monthly Manager Forums, focusing on practical capability building and alignment.

AI & Tech Innovation: Identify and integrate AI-driven solutions across talent programs to drive operational efficiency and modernization.
High-Caliber Talent Programs & Performance Architecture

Succession Planning & Talent Bench: Build and execute frameworks for critical role succession, high-potential (HiPo) identification, and internal mobility. Support the strategy to build an always-on talent bench by leveraging executive and employee networks, ensuring Carrot can hire top performers instantly as business needs arise.

Calibrations & Performance Management: Design, scale, and facilitate end-to-end AI enabled performance review cycles, goal-setting frameworks (e.g., OKRs/KPIs), and executive talent calibration processes to ensure consistency, rigor, and meritocracy.
