Purpose:

Provides high-level administrative and strategic support, enabling the CEO to focus on organizational leadership and key initiatives. Ensures seamless executive operations by managing communications, schedules, confidential matters, and Board governance activities with professionalism and discretion. Serves as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, coordinating Board meetings, planning sessions, agendas, materials, minutes, and governance documentation while fostering effective communication between the CEO, Board members, and executive leadership. Anticipates needs and streamlines workflows, enhancing the CEO’s effectiveness and the overall success of the credit union. Manages the organization's Executive Administration team and establishes the team as strategic partners who enhance the effectiveness of leadership through exceptional executive and governance support.

Pay Range:

The target annual pay range for this position is $147,048 to $167,100. The full annual pay range is $133,680 to 200,520.
- Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Responsibilities:

- Leads the Executive Administration and Board Governance function, establishing strategy, service standards, and operating practices that enhance organizational effectiveness and executive productivity.

- Serves as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, ensuring effective governance processes, regulatory compliance, Board communications, and seamless coordination between the Board, CEO, and executive leadership team.

- Directs Board and committee operations, including governance calendars, annual planning cycles, meeting effectiveness, governance documentation, Board education, and strategic planning support.

- Partners with the CEO and executive leadership team to advance organizational priorities, coordinate enterprise initiatives, and ensure alignment across key strategic activities.

- Oversees executive operations and governance processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, decision-making, and organizational execution.

- Leads, develops, and mentors the Executive Administration team, establishing a high performing culture focused on exceptional service, continuous improvement, and strategic partnership.

- Establishes priorities, allocates resources, and manages workload across the Executive Administration function to ensure effective support of executive leaders and enterprise governance activities.

- Develops and maintains strong relationships with Board members, executive leaders, regulators, community partners, and other key stakeholders to support organizational objectives.

- Oversees the management of sensitive organizational, governance, and executive matters, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and stewardship.

- Leads special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the CEO and Board, providing research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation support to drive organizational success.
