The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing content marketing initiatives, including written, visual, and social content, to enhance brand awareness and support marketing campaigns within an outsourced services environment. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, analyze performance, and identify opportunities to strengthen marketing effectiveness.

What does a day in the life of a Content Marketing Specialist look like?

- Plan, create, and publish content across various channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, and press releases

- Develop content calendars and coordinate content production timelines across marketing channels

- Conduct market and audience research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, using insights to inform content strategy and messaging

- Optimize content for search engines (SEO), incorporating relevant keywords and best practices to improve organic visibility

- Monitor and analyze content and campaign performance metrics, such as engagement, conversion rates, and ROI, generating reports and recommendations for optimization

- Maintain brand consistency across all content and marketing materials, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and messaging

- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and design, to align content efforts with overall business objectives

- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels

- Track campaign and content performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies

- Adhere to company policies and procedures

- Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs

- Continuously improve knowledge of content marketing strategies, digital tools, and industry best practices through training and learning initiatives

- Collaborate with other departments as needed

- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times

- Perform other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of a Content Marketing Specialist?

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in content marketing, marketing, or a related role within an outsourced services environment

- Proven track record of successfully creating and executing content and marketing campaigns

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels

- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and content management platforms

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and identify optimization opportunities

- Creative mindset, with strong attention to detail and brand consistency

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage content calendars and multiple projects simultaneously
