Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Federal Construction Project Director responsible for oversight and execution of large and/or complex construction or renovation projects. Directly responsible for coordination of all necessary resources and liaison with senior management, client, and all other project related parties for successful project execution. P rior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following inexhaustive list of duties represents a sample of work routinely performed by this role:
- Must have prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.
- Candidates should possess Construction Project Management and Construction Management skills to oversee field activities, trades, and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage costs, track expenditures, and support financial decision-making for construction projects.
- Relevant experience in managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction software tools, scheduling applications, and standard office productivity software.
- Experience with Federal Construction projects is strongly preferred.
Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
Required Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a recognized engineering or architectural discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Must have ten (10) years relevant specialized experience in construction and/or the construction management area.
- May substitute a master’s degree and seven (7) years of experience or no degree with 15 years of experience.
- Must have prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
Working Environment
This position primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate-controlled environment. While in the office, there is no regular exposure to loud noise, hazardous materials, or heavy machinery.
This role also requires periodic travel to project sites, including locations undergoing renovation or active construction.
