At Atmosera , the Service Transition team is responsible for the execution of our statements of work (SOWs) through the design, deployment and troubleshooting of complex Azure cloud-based managed services offerings for a wide array of customers. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is part of a team comprised of client-focused technical professionals who have extensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure. Our seasoned experts operate with complete integrity and are relentless in providing exceptional client support.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will interface with customers on a technical level and demonstrate passion for innovative solutions. You epitomize strategic thinking and provide leadership by organizing and leading infrastructure project deployments for client environments. You use a consultative approach in problem solving, including reiterating problem statements, stating assumptions, and proposing actions.
What You'll Do

- Perform advanced infrastructure engineering, design, development, configuration, installation, administration, maintenance, and upgrades of infrastructure components within cloud environments

- Design and build automated solutions for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructures

- Use continuous improvement techniques and data-driven analysis to improve delivery timeframes and quality

- Troubleshoot and advise on advanced infrastructure problems for client escalations and internal operations

- Contribute to the development and productization of custom value-added cloud services that differentiate the company as a thought leader in the industry

- Collaborate with customers to develop operational runbooks and define alerting telemetry to meet client business needs

- Perform as a trusted adviser to internal and external clients

- Lead service transition build teams in the implementation of greenfield cloud environments, deployment of management tooling to brownfield environments, and infrastructure migrations to cloud platforms

- Assist in the development and training of others

- Remain informed of new developments and trends in the Microsoft and Azure ecosystems; make recommendations to management on desirable additions and developments

- Maintain up-to-date configuration documentation for client cloud configurations and deployments

The Skills You'll Need

- Experienced with a variety of IT technologies, specifically Azure, and ability to apply that expertise to work with a variety of solution configurations

- Experienced with migration of workloads from on-premises to cloud infrastructures

- Familiar with storage and networking constructs in Azure

- Desire to work closely with clients to identify business needs and map those needs to cloud solutions

- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt learning into successful implementation

- Must have the ability to work within as well as lead in a team-driven environment

- Must be able to work within an agile or ITIL framework, change management, and regulated environments

- Must be familiar with Azure and Windows HA setups, administration, and troubleshooting

- Must be familiar with SQL Always-On deployment and configuration

- Must be familiar with Azure SQL PaaS and WebApp services

- Must be familiar with on-premise to Azure migrations

- Ability to excel in an ever-evolving atmos
