Responsibilities

- Design Zero Trust and TIC 3.0-compliant security architecture across VAEC, AWS, Azure and OpenShift.

- Lead RMF and A&A packages to obtain and keep ATOs (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring) per VA Handbook 6500.

- Set standards for secure development, encryption, logging, ICAM/PIV and identity federation.

- Coordinate with VA ISOs, the Office of Information Security and Field Security Services.

- Track ATO status across the product line and report it monthly.

Qualifications

- 13+ years of experience, including 10+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years on FISMA/RMF (Expert / Level IV or well-qualified Senior / Level III).

- Led ATO packages (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring).

- Zero Trust, TIC 3.0 and VA Handbook 6500 requirements.

Desired Skills:

- Security architecture for AWS, Azure and OpenShift.

- ICAM/PIV and identity federation.

- Working with VA ISOs and the Office of Information Security.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field.

- CISSP-ISSAP and CISSP-ISSEP.

Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Location:
- Remote, USA.

Pay Range:

- The suggested pay for this position ranges from $110,546 to $125,875.

- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
