Client Relations Associate (Energy)

Core Tasks:

- Act as the first point of contact with prospective clients and partners

- Assist the team with all administrative tasks from into call to close

- Clearly explain the company’s services and value proposition to prospective partners

- Qualify opportunities based on potential, strategic fit, timing, and client needs

- Schedule introductory and discovery calls for senior members of the commercial team

- Maintain consistent follow-up throughout longer and more complex sales cycles

- Prepare prospect briefs, meeting notes, and internal opportunity summaries

- Keep accurate records of outreach, conversations, opportunities, and next steps

- Support conference outreach and other business development initiatives as needed

Must Have:

- 3+ years of experience in an originations, sales, business development, finance role (energy sector preferred)

- Strong (C-level) written and verbal English communication skills

- Strong sales, origination, or client-facing experience

- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with senior decision-makers

- Ability to explain complex ideas in simple and persuasive language

- Strong research skills and the ability to learn new industries quickly

- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and pipeline management skills

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

- Ability to work full-time EST hours

Nice to Have:

- Experience in finance, energy, commodities, renewables, or battery storage

- Familiarity with CRM platforms and outbound prospecting tools

- Bachelor’s in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field
