Position: Chemical Defense Researcher
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$75/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities

- Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety , labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial.

- Evaluate AI model responses against defined policy standards to ensure correct handling.

- Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.

- Collaborate with AI research teams to draw reliable lines between routine and dangerous queries.

- Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance .

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Experience in chemical defense research at institutions like USAMRICD , DoD , or CDC .

- Background in toxicology of chemical warfare agents and medical countermeasure development.

- Expertise in decontamination , protection , and detection research for chemical threats.

- Experience with CWC-related work such as verification and destruction.

- Strong technical writing skills with prior experience or published research.
