About the job:
Key responsibilities:

Research the academic publishing and research-support services industry.

Identify target customer segments and market opportunities.

Develop a comprehensive business model and revenue strategy.

Design service packages, pricing structures and cost estimates.

Establish standard operating procedures for client onboarding, service delivery and quality assurance.

Develop ethical policies covering publication assistance, research integrity, authorship, plagiarism and journal selection.

Recommend customer acquisition channels and a client conversion process.

Identify potential collaborators, subject experts, editors and statistical consultants.

Prepare financial projections, operational requirements and a 90-day execution roadmap.

Deliver complete documentation and editable business planning files for implementation.

Other Requirements:
- Relevant experience in academic publishing, scholarly publishing, research consultancy, publication support or an adjacent business.

- Knowledge of academic research workflows and scholarly publication practices.
- Strong analytical, planning, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver structured, practical recommendations.
