Business Development Representative
About LeadingReach
LeadingReach is a team of like-minded people committed to solving healthcare’s communication challenges. We’re a flat, high-growth, remote-friendly company where your voice is heard.
About the role
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to be a key driver of our revenue growth. You’ll own outbound prospecting and early-stage qualification across our existing customers, inbound leads, and net new accounts, turning outreach into qualified pipeline by booking Sales Qualified product demonstrations and handing off well-documented opportunities to Sales. You’ll partner with Sales and Marketing to line up outreach with active campaigns, and you’ll know LeadingReach ’s products well enough to explain how they fit a practice’s referral workflow. You’ll also verify that prospective users are authorized to access Protected Health Information (PHI), so sound judgment matters here.
Location: Remote within the following approved U.S. states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MN, MT, NE, NJ, NC, OK, SC, TX, UT.
This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Business Development Manager.
What you’ll do
- Make 50 calls a day to a mix of existing customers, inbound leads, and net new contacts
- Identify sales opportunities and schedule at least 3 Sales Qualified Product Demonstrations a day (on average)
- Keep every call, note, task, and activity documented in our CRM
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing so outreach lines up with active campaigns and lead lists, and hand off qualified opportunities to Sales
- Know every LeadingReach product offering and how it fits a practice’s referral workflow, well enough to explain its value on a call
- Run product demos for prospects as needed
- Perform user and account verification calls to confirm authorization to access PHI, as needed
What you bring
- 2+ years of outbound sales or BDR/SDR experience
- Hands-on CRM experience (Zoho is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A self-starter who works independently, solves problems creatively, and takes initiative
- Detail-oriented, organized, and trusted with sensitive information
- Proficient in Google Workspace and CRM tools
- Healthcare and/or SaaS experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Perks and benefits
- 20 PTO days plus 6 paid mental health days
- 401(k) with a 4% match and no vesting period
- Medical, dental, and vision, with the company covering 100% of at least one employee-only plan
- HSA, FSA, and dependent care plans, plus company-paid basic life insurance
- Monthly phone and work-from-home stipends
