Overview JOB TITLE: Business Analyst III CAYUSE COMPANY: Cayuse Civil Services, LLC LOCATION Remote SALARY: $124,800.00-$174,720.00 EMPLOYEE TYPE: Full-Time Salary Exempt TRAVEL No RELOCATION No Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The current period of performance is scheduled to end on August 31, 2027; however, the client retains the unilateral right to extend the contract beyond this date by exercising one or more option periods, subject to the terms, conditions, and funding provisions of the awarded contract. The Work The Business Analyst III will play a pivotal role in the implementation of advanced technology solutions, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) software applications, data migrations from legacy mainframe systems, and integration with a Data Warehouse. The selected Worker will join a team tasked with shaping and delivering the core deliverables of this critical initiative. This role will be involved in advanced business analysis work, with a focus on gathering, developing, and documenting requirements, reverse-engineering legacy systems, and creating comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities - Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Identify, gather, analyze, and document business and technology requirements, including reverse-engineering legacy mainframe systems and generating detailed specifications. - Process Review and Development: Assess and improve business processes as part of technology implementation initiatives. - System Analysis and Legacy Understanding: Conduct root cause analysis on workflows and data for RRC legacy systems (e.g., WB, WL, SL, HW, OW, BW, GW, GS, EX, DP, CMPL, T1, W3, W3A). - Design Documentation: Develop, update, and maintain design documents. Create diagrams to document business processes that reflect business needs. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Organize and lead interactive sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and technical specifications. - User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Guide business units on UAT activities, including test script creation, system validation, and implementation-related activities. - Research & Project Support: Conduct in-depth research, provide analysis, and deliver support for special projects and user needs. - Project Oversight and Leadership: Ensure project deliverables adhere to established standards and methodologies; supervise tasks of other team members as assigned. - Quality and Risk Management: Ensure consistent quality in deliverables and mitigate risks when necessary. - Other duties as assigned.
