Overview

Job Title: AI Native Engineer Location: Remote

Job Type: Independent Contract (Contractor / Non-Employee) Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $70-100/hr 1099 / C2C

Contract Length: 6-8 Months - Renewable

AI Native Engineer (Context Engineer / Harness Engineer) A hands-on builder who implements features, agents, skills, and MCP integrations using Claude Code, working within an architecture defined by senior and principal engineers.
Responsibilities

- Builds and maintains harness components (retrieval, tool invocation, evaluation, observability) under review, and contributes improvements back to the shared base harness.

- Works through architecture- and systems-level problems under senior review as the path to progression.

Qualifications

- Tech: Claude Code, React / TypeScript / JavaScript / Node.js front end, Python and backend data engineering, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, Bedrock), Terraform, Playwright, Azure DevOps.

- Professional English fluency, written and verbal.

- AI-enabled and hands-on with Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling).

- Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am–6pm PST).

- Hands-on AWS delivery is required for the engineering roles

Pay Range
USD $70.00 - USD $100.00 /Hr.
