Position: Bilingual Polish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$54/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Write expert-level prompts in Polish across specialized scientific topics.

- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.

- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

- Collaborate with AI teams to ensure models handle specialized technical topics in Polish safely.

- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model safety.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.

- Native or near-native fluency in Polish and business-level written English.

- Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.

- Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

Preferred

- Based in Poland or Eastern Europe.

- Radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background.

- Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic synthesis or molecular biology.

- Research or coursework on chemical safety and security.

- Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
