Position: Bilingual Spanish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type: Contract
Compensation: $58–$62/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities

- Write expert-level prompts in Spanish across specialized scientific topics.

- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy and appropriate handling of sensitive content.

- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

- Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model safety .

- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure accuracy and depth in model outputs .

Qualifications

Must-Have

- PhD in chemistry , biology , or a related field.

- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and business-level written English .

- Familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.

- Sound judgment in scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

Preferred

- Based in Spain or Western Europe .

- Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , or related fields.

- Depth in specific subfields like organic synthesis or molecular biology .

- Experience in chemical safety, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling.

- Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
