- Conduct negotiations directly with customers on contract terms, pricing, and conditions where appropriate

- Escalate contracts that fall outside our framework or require senior leadership sign-off to your manager with clear reasoning and recommendations

- Maintain our contract management system and ensure all agreements are properly saved, organized, and easily retrievable

- Design and document long-term contract management processes and frameworks

- Create decision-making guidelines that the team can reference for common contract issues

- Build out templates and playbooks that enable scaling as the company grows

- Partner with Legal, Sales, and other departments to refine processes and catch issues early

- Work closely with the Sales team to understand their needs and keep deals moving without unnecessary delays

- Support the Legal team on more complex agreements or matters requiring attorney review

- Communicate clearly with customers about contract status and any changes needed

- Coach team members on contract basics and guide them on escalation paths

Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related field

- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

- Solid understanding of contract law, risk assessment, and negotiation principles

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, balancing efficiency with compliance

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assess contract language and identify risks or opportunities
