The University of Miami , Division of Enrollment Management, has an exciting opportunity for a full time Application Analyst to work remote.
The Applications Analyst is a motivated professional who supports Enrollment Management and enrollment software applications with a primary focus on Technolutions Slate CRM. This role is responsible for maintaining application workflows, ensuring data accuracy, supporting communication plans, and providing advanced troubleshooting for end users. The applications analyst works closely with enrollment management teams and other University partners to streamline processes, enhance the applicant experience, and contribute to strategic enrollment goals.
Core responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and maintains views of commonly used data and responds to requests for information.
- Facilitates secure data transfers for phone campaigns, alumni online communities, postal services address returns, and other recurring projects to ensure effective advancement programming.
- Ensures the integrity of modifications and enhancements to the system by assisting in the installation, configuration, and testing of application software.
- Defines and develops reports and queries from various databases that will provide information as required for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
- Ensures the operational integrity of the system by coordinating the installation of new software, orchestrating the purchase and development of all custom interfaces, installing and documenting all system customizations, and assisting Computer Services with the maintenance of interfaces to external systems.
- Assesses desktop and equipment needs and makes recommendations for replacements, purchases, and repairs.
- Ensures system viability by identifying the information needs, researching available products, methodologies, and query tools, contacting other educational institutions and computer services for approaches to resolving information needs.
- Remains competent and current through self-directed reading of professional journals, developing professional contacts with colleagues, and attending professional development courses.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the undergraduate Slate CRM environment, ensuring reliable, scalable, and effective support of enrollment operations.
- Design, build, and optimize advanced Slate solutions, including applications, forms, workflows, automations, dynamic portals, checklist logic, rules, and other system functionality.
- Develop and maintain email, SMS, and ad hoc communications within Slate; serve as backup to the Communications Specialist.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for advanced Slate troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system support.
- Troubleshoot data loads, field mappings, source formats, integrations, and other data-related issues; coordinate with IT and external partners as needed to resolve technical issues.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze operational needs, and design scalable Slate-based solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and applicant experience.
- Support Undergraduate Admission and Financial Aid with the configuration, loading, review, and release of admission, scholarship, and financial aid decisions, letters, and related system processes.
