Overview Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Administrator II, Applications Systems to join our team! The Administrator II, Applications Systems ensures efforts are in alignment with IT Enterprise Services to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people’s lives. This role is responsible for application administration including server maintenance, application upgrades, application support and requests, disaster recovery planning, and providing any other support within the vendor purchased applications used at Navitus. This role is recognized as the go-to person when technical support is required. This position will work directly with application developers, business users, internal IT, and third-party vendors to improve performance, ensure high availability of the system, and administer the overall health of the environment. This role will participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the systems are running optimally and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities How do I make an impact on my team? - Ensure all environments are managed and maintained to meet service level agreements. - Administer and maintain Oracle Fusion applications and databases. - Implement Security measures and access controls. - Support change control and testing processes for modifications to application systems - Proactive monitoring and maintenance of Linux and/or Windows system environments. - Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes. - Work with additional functional teams to ensure optimal operations and uptime of application environments. - Analyze system for overall performance and give recommendations for improvements. - Develop strong working relationship with third party vendors. - Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. - Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale. - Quick, efficient, and effective issue resolution with proactive communication to all stakeholders - Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements, patches, and reconfigurations. - Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use. - Provide backup administration support to other teammates. - Provide
