Perr&Knight is looking for an Actuarial Consultant to support a Consulting Actuary in the completion of actuarial and consulting projects for insurance companies and self-insureds. The Actuarial Consultant’s responsibilities include the completion of specific tasks related to the preparation of rate level indications, class plan analyses, competitive research, benchmarking analyses, rate/rule filing support, reserve analyses, self-insured retention analyses and funding studies.
What You'll Be Doing:

- Updating reserve studies for new or additional years of data.

- Performing tech reviews of formulas/data entry.

- Performing competitive research to extract key information.

- Extracting and/or summarizing annual statement data.

- Completing actuarial transmittal forms in all US jurisdictions for rate and rule filings.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

- BS/BA degree from an accredited university

- At least 1 Actuarial Exam

- At least 1 year working in the Property/Casualty industry

- Excellent Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Access and SQL

- Oral and written communication skills
