Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on accounts payable processes. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's payables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Responsibilities:

- Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests

- Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies

- Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payables and payments

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any issues or discrepancies

- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment-related inquiries in a timely manner

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Assist with month-end closing processes and provide support for audits

- Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounts payable processes

- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with remote work is a plus
