Account & Territory Manager
Description
We are looking for a Account & Territory Manager to own and grow revenue across assigned territories. Youβll look after our existing customers, find ways to grow those accounts, and bring new customers on board. Youβll be the main point of contact for your territory, working closely with our sales support, marketing, product, and operations teams.
Whatβs in it for you?
- Own a whole territory and see your impact directly in the results.
- Sell products from the world leader in sheet music publishing and music education.
- Join a company where everyone is a music lover. You wonβt hear water cooler chat about the weather here at Muse; here we are rating our favorite Prince albums and discussing Japanese punk.
We are actively integrating AI and automation into all areas of the business and expect candidates with a mindset focused on improving efficiency and delivering a better user experience.
Key responsibilities
-
Territory ownership: Manage and grow revenue in your territory, and track performance to hit or exceed your targets.
-
Customer relationships: Build long-term partnerships with existing customers through regular meetings and business reviews, keeping retention high.
-
Account growth: Spot and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities, guided by account plans for your key customers.
-
New business: Prospect and win new customers in the territory.
-
Pipeline and forecasting: Keep a healthy pipeline, keep the CRM accurate and up to date, and give reliable revenue forecasts.
-
Commercial discipline: Run pricing, proposals, and negotiations in a way that protects margins.
-
Market insight: Follow customer activity, competitors, and market trends in your territory.
-
Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver the right solutions for customers, and help shape territory planning and our sales processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or territory management, ideally in B2B.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing existing accounts while also winning new business.
- Confident pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
- Hands-on CRM experience.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness, including pricing discussions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Well organised and able to juggle multiple accounts and priorities.
- Comfortable working independently, with strong ownership of your results.
