Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Certification Required)

- $55-$57/hr. Rates are negotiable and subject to change
- 1:1 sessions will take place during the school day (9 AM to 3 PM MST); 5 hours daily
- Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity
- Valid Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification is required OR must be willing to seek AZ reciprocity.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind educator, you will:
- Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
- Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
- Track student grades and performance
- Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
- Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students

- Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification. Must be Arizona certified OR willing to seek Arizona reciprocity.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
