Video Editor for Podcast Clips

We are looking to add new full-time video editors to our growing team at Good Future Media starting September 1st, 2026

Our specialty is taking podcast episodes and repurposing them into short-form TikToks/Reels/Shorts. We're looking for someone who can take a 1-3 minute clip, cut it down to be as punchy and entertaining as possible, and then add visuals that make it more entertaining and easier to understand. We do NOT use stock footage — we research the topic of each video and find real graphics that help tell the story.

We're specifically looking for someone highly talented and sharp. This is a job where good judgment and creative instinct matter as much as technical skill, so if you're smart, curious, and a fast learner, you'll do well here.

This is a full-time position. Expect to make about 1-3 short-form videos per day, five days per week. If you prefer part-time, we can be flexible.

Other responsibilities may expand to include more video types — such as full episodes or 6-12 minute clips.

**Minimum Requirements:**

- Expert in Adobe Premiere

- Near-native English (C2) — strong written and spoken English is essential; you'll be communicating with us daily and need to understand nuanced, fast-talking podcast content

**The Ideal Candidate:**

- Has already created multiple hits on TikTok/Reels/Shorts

- Is good at Photoshop too

- Is funny (able to enhance the humor in videos)

- Has an interest in technology/business/economics

- Is sharp — picks things up fast, catches details others miss, and doesn't need much hand-holding

1. Send us two of your favorite podcasts (this is mostly just a test to see who reads the whole listing).

2. Pick ONE of the example videos linked above and, in 2-3 sentences, tell us why you think it works — what makes it effective as a short-form video. (This is how we gauge how you think, not just how you edit.)

3. Don't send us your entire portfolio. Only send 1-2 video clips that you're most proud of (best if they're clips live on social media).
