UKG Pro Talent Consultant
Overview
HRchitect is seeking an experienced UKG Pro Talent Consultant to support our growing client needs on a contract basis. This individual will provide functional consulting, configuration, and advisory support across the UKG Pro Talent suite while helping clients optimize their talent-management processes and achieve successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of UKG Pro Talent solutions.
- Facilitate client discovery sessions to understand business requirements, current processes, and desired outcomes.
- Translate client requirements into effective UKG Pro Talent configurations and recommendations.
- Provide expertise across one or more Talent modules, including:
- Recruiting
- Onboarding
- Performance Management
- Goals
- Compensation Management
- Succession Planning
- Learning
- Employee development and talent-related workflows
- Develop and maintain configuration workbooks, requirements documentation, testing materials, decision logs, and other project documentation.
- Guide clients through system testing, issue identification, and resolution.
- Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions and train-the-trainer support.
- Identify scope concerns, risks, dependencies, and potential change requests, escalating them promptly to project leadership.
- Partner with Project Managers, Implementation Managers, integration resources, and other functional consultants to coordinate project activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely time entries, project updates, and documentation.
- Support multiple client engagements while managing priorities, deadlines, and commitments.
- Participate in client meetings and internal project discussions as needed. Testing & Validation
- Support payroll unit testing, parallel testing, and validation activities.
- Review payroll test results, identify discrepancies, and support resolution efforts.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for Payroll and HR modules.
- Assist with data validation and reconciliation efforts to ensure payroll and HR data integrity.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Up to date UKG implementation certification for Talent modules
- Prior consulting or professional-services experience.
- Experience working with UKG Pro Core and understanding how employee data supports Talent functionality.
- Experience with UKG Pro reporting, security roles, business processes, notifications, and integrations related to Talent.
- Experience supporting clients through implementation, post-go-live stabilization, or system optimization.
- Familiarity with structured implementation methodologies and project governance.
Contract Expectations
- Independent contractor engagement.
- Remote position with potential client-facing meetings during standard North American business hours.
- Hours will vary based on project assignments and client demand.
- Contractor must maintain timely communication and meet agreed-upon project deadlines.
Contractor is expected to follow HRchitect βs delivery standards, documentation requirements, security practices, and client-communication protocols.
