Treasury Analyst
American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH) is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Finance department.

The Treasury Analyst's primary responsibility is performing various cash management and cash accounting activities within the Corporate Treasury function. The analyst will work closely with banks and internal staff to prepare the daily cash position, complete treasury requests, resolve issues, and maintain bank accounts as required. The analyst will manage routine treasury responsibilities and organize workload to ensure tasks are completed and resolved within established guidelines to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Salary Range
American Specialty Health complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $56,700.00 to $70,000.00 Full-Time Annual Salary Range.
Remote Worker Guidelines
- Remote Worker Guidelines: This position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home (WFH) in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network. The internet connection must have a consistent 50 down/10 up Mbps minimum internet speed. 100 down/20 up is recommended to support higher quality video meetings.
Responsibilities
- Routine treasury and corporate finance support.
- Supports Director, Treasury, and Tax with all treasury and tax related activities.
- Manage banking relationships.
- Determine the daily cash position and manage account transfers, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Prepare quarterly debt compliance package.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash forecasts and analyses.
- Support the issuance and renewal of standby letters of credit.
- Analyze monthly bank fee detail and report on variances and recommend efficiencies.
- Prepare quarterly Board of Director reports.
- Oversee and manage the monthly intercompany settlement process.
- Maintain current inventory of bank accounts and authorized signers.
- Manage statutory deposits and investments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting for the investments.
- Assist in Treasury control procedures to promote a strong control environment.
- Recommend process improvement in daily tasks.
- Maintain and update treasury documentation and treasury policies and procedures as required.
- Supports annual independent audit and accounting related projects.
- Support with income tax, sales and use tax, property tax and premium tax payments, and unclaimed property payments and filings.
- Prepares monthly CAPEX summary reports and reviews CAPEX related purchase orders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, including treasury/cash management required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint required.
- Experience with online banking systems and electronic payments required.
- Experience with Macros preferred.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail is required.
- Knowledge of treasury function related policies and practices, and demonstrates application of knowledge.
- Knowledge of US GAPP and understanding of primary accounts within a general ledger, including drivers of activity within each account.
- Ability to create complex and accurate spreadsheets/workpapers supporting analysis that lend to ease of review, while having ability to prepare related summaries of these detailed analyses for executive review.
