The Role
Multi Media, LLC is seeking an experienced Staff Security Engineer to join our growing Security team. In this highly impactful role, you’ll help build and mature security capabilities across the organization, with an initial focus on threat intelligence, customer security, detection and response, and AI-driven security solutions. You’ll help turn threat intelligence and security data into actionable signals, automated detections, and scalable tools that identify and respond to emerging threats, account compromise, fraud, and other forms of abuse.
As a Staff Security Engineer, you’ll work across multiple areas of our security program, including customer and product security, public cloud environments, corporate security, and incident response. You’ll also contribute to the continued development of our agentic security platform, applying AI to improve security analysis, investigation, detection, and response. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, influence technical and strategic security decisions, and help shape new programs and capabilities as our security organization continues to grow.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify security issues, implement and design security controls, tools, and services to improve security systems and processes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to conduct product security assessments during the design phase, including rapid threat modeling and architecture analysis to proactively identify and prioritize security risks, ensuring timely feedback.
- Leverage threat intelligence and an offensive security mindset to anticipate attacker behavior, identify emerging risks, and inform security controls and detection strategies.
- Research novel security threats and vulnerabilities to the business, offering recommendations to the organization and contributing to the evolution of our security team's expertise.
- Protect public-facing applications by analyzing edge traffic and tuning WAF, DDoS, rate-limiting, DNS, and anti-bot controls to detect anomalies while minimizing disruption to legitimate users.
- Develop new security standards and playbooks.
- Lead and execute incident response simulations, including tabletop exercises and red/blue team engagements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other security engineers within the team.
- Build and expand capabilities within our agentic security platform to improve threat detection, investigation, and response.
