This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Strategist, Account Development (Commercial Lines) based in United States.

This senior strategy role focuses on strengthening account development and commercial growth across a broad network of independent agency partners.
You’ll translate business objectives into scalable campaigns, engagement programs, and sales enablement experiences designed to improve production and profitability.
The role combines strategic planning, campaign development, content creation, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
You’ll work closely with Commercial Lines product, sales, and platform leaders to identify opportunities and turn insights into measurable action.
A key focus will be supporting agents without dedicated Commercial Lines sales resources through broad-reach and virtual engagement models.
The position offers significant visibility across sales and business functions and the opportunity to influence growth strategy at scale.
This is a fully remote role with limited travel for events and sales conferences.

Accountabilities

Partner with Commercial Lines product, sales, and platform leadership to identify opportunities that can improve production, profitability, and agent engagement.

Plan, build, deploy, measure, and continuously refine scalable campaigns designed to increase product awareness and support earlier, more profitable growth.

Own account development strategies focused on approximately 60% of agents who do not have a dedicated Commercial Lines sales representative.

Design and manage repeatable processes and off-the-shelf programming that apply insights from broad-reach campaigns to phone- and field-based account development.

Support Sales Enablement teams as a Commercial Lines product and sales subject-matter expert.

Create, maintain, and manage agent-facing tools and resources, including presentations, job aids, videos, collateral, webinars, sales call-in-a-box materials, and email or campaign templates.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across corporate, regional, and local teams and communicate strategy and results effectively to executive audiences.

Analyze multiple sources of data to identify opportunities, design and evaluate tests, measure impact, and refine strategies based on results.

Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, strengthen the agent experience, and increase the effectiveness of account development activities.

Requirements

-

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

At least 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, sales strategy, or a closely related discipline.

Demonstrated success translating sales or business strategy into measurable results.

Strong strategic planning, campaign development, and execution capabilities.

-

Excellent executive communication skills, including writing, presenting, influencing, and persuading.

-

Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels and business functions.

-

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities, design tests, assess outcomes, and iterate approaches.

Strong attention to detail and adaptability in an environment with evolving priorities.

-

Preferred: 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, particularly Commercial Lines.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel up to approximately 5% for events and sales conferences.

Must be authorized to work in the United States; the position is not currently eligible for new employment authorization sponsorship.
