Software Engineer

GTX is an ETF market maker, quoting across European exchanges. We're a small team of traders, quants and engineers building the systems that price, hedge, and trade thousands of instruments in real time.
Key responsibilities

- Design, build, and operate our ETF market making platform.

- Work directly with traders and quants to turn ideas into features across pricing, quoting, hedging, and risk management systems.

- Improve the reliability, resiliency, observability, and performance of our infrastructure

Required

- 3-5+ years of software development in Java, Python, or C++

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, or similar)

- Experience shipping and operating services on cloud platforms (eg AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Strong programming ability

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

- Exposure to trading, exchanges, ETFs, or other latency-sensitive systems

- Experience working with distributed systems or messaging systems such as Kafka

- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
