About the Role
We are seeking a Site Payment Specialist - Senior Associate (Clinical Site Payments Specialist - Senior Associate) to join our team in a remote working capacity on a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract basis.
As a Site Payment Specialist, Senior Associate, you will support the accurate setup and administration of clinical trial payment and budget configurations that enable efficient study execution across global research sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring payment requirements are clearly defined, configured correctly within payment systems, and aligned with executed contractual agreements.
Working closely with Investigator Payments Leads and cross-functional business partners, you will review and interpret payment-related documentation, configure payment schedules, resolve ambiguities, and help ensure sites are established correctly for payment processing. Your expertise will contribute to operational excellence, timely site reimbursement activities, and the smooth execution of clinical research programs.
You'll join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where attention to detail, collaboration, and problem solving directly support the advancement of clinical research. This role offers opportunities to deepen your knowledge of investigator payments, clinical budgets, and study operations while building expertise across global clinical development processes.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with the sponsor Investigator Payments Lead (IPL) to ensure payment requirements for each study are clearly defined and documented

Review and interpret global clinical payment documents, including Clinical Study Agreements, budgets, amendments, and Budget Modification Letters, to extract payment information for budget configuration templates

Configure payment schedules accurately by distinguishing between data-driven and manual payment line items

Support the correct setup of sites within the investigator payment system to facilitate timely and accurate payments

Escalate ambiguous payment information and collaborate with contract negotiators to obtain clarification and resolution

Follow up with research sites regarding payee form completion, corrections, or modifications

Collaborate effectively with internal business partners to support payment and budget setup activities

Create and upload completed budget configuration templates to the IPS supplier within an average of three business days following receipt of required documentation
