Short-Form Video Editor and Creator Assistant

I’m a U.S.-based family and lifestyle creator looking for a creative editor to help turn raw footage and ideas into polished, personality-driven social content.

Weekly Expectations

* Edit 3–5 short-form Reels/TikToks

* Create 1–2 Instagram carousels

* Create Reel covers or simple graphics as needed

* Share a few relevant trends or original content ideas each week

* Complete revisions and meet agreed deadlines

* Keep files and completed content organized

What I’m Looking For

Someone who understands that good editing is more than trimming clips and adding captions. You should have a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, humor, hooks, B-roll, typography and retention.

Skill Requirements

* Strong CapCut editing skills

* Strong Canva skills

* Experience editing Reels/TikToks/Shorts

* Understanding of social media hooks, trends and storytelling

* Strong visual taste and attention to detail

* Good English comprehension

* Reliable communication and ability to work independently

Experience with lifestyle, motherhood, marriage, family, beauty or personality-driven creator content is a plus.

Starting Rate: $5 USD/hour for approximately 10 hours/week, with opportunity for increased hours and compensation for the right long-term fit.
