Short-form Podcast Video Editor

We're STAIA, an AI-powered astrology app on a mission to help 100M+ people live better lives. We publish a high volume of short-form podcast videos and need a reliable editor to keep the pipeline moving.

The edits themselves are simple: clean cuts, captions, music, light visual polish. The challenge isn't complexity, it's volume, speed, and consistency. We need someone who can turn around a lot of solid videos quickly without dropping quality.

What you'll do:

- Edit AI-generated podcast videos: clean cuts, captions, background music, keeping things visually engaging

- Generate the AI videos themselves using HeyGen (or learn it fast if you haven't)

- Maintain a consistent look and feel across a high volume of output

Here's an example of the style we're going for:

What we're looking for:

- Taste. You know what "good" looks like and can hit it consistently

- Strong attention to detail

- Speed without sacrificing quality

- Reliability. You hit deadlines and communicate proactively

- Motivation and discipline to manage high-volume work independently

- Low ego, easy to give feedback to

- Fast learner

To apply:

Please share 1-2 examples of short-form podcast videos you've edited (captioned/social style preferred). In your first line, tell us your typical turnaround time for a single 30–60 second reel and whether you've used HeyGen before. Applications without samples won't be considered.

What we offer:

- Long-term and growing. Consistent work now, with real room to expand your role and rate over time.

- $400 for AI tools, on us. Learn and create without the software costs coming out of your pay.

This opportunity is a freelance contract with an expected 40 hours/week engagement.
